Our Services

  • Early Learner Social Groups (Age 3-6)

We offer social language-based playgroups for preschool to kindergarten aged students. Our early learners benefit from Social Emotional Learning in a fun, play-based, small group setting. We explore the Social Thinking® methodology through imaginative play, stories, sensory activities and structured games. Concepts covered include:

    Social problem solving

    Communicating our thoughts and feelings

Joining a group and figuring out a group plan

Using our eyes to make observations

    Adding ideas to pretend play

    Asking for help

  • School Age Social Groups (Age 6-18)

We offer groups for school age students focusing on developing social competencies to meet self-identified social goals. Through fun, engaging lessons and activities, we explore strategies for navigating the social world in a small group setting. Some of the concepts our school age groups may cover include:

    Steps of perspective taking

    Sharing space effectively with peers

Working together as part of a group

    Planning and organizational skills

    Self-advocacy

    Flexible thinking

  • Individual Social Communication Therapy (Ages 3+)

We offer individual sessions for clients of all ages. Individual sessions cover many of the same concepts as in group. These sessions are highly tailored to meet the client’s needs, interests and social goals. Individual sessions can be a great option for those who aren’t ready for a group or who are waiting for a group spot, or for clients who would benefit from more individualized one on one support.

  • Consultations and trainings

We provide a range of consultation and training options for schools, parents, therapists and other care providers around social learning. We have worked with many parents, schools and clinics to help their staff deepen their understanding of social learning challenges and better support their child. These include but are not limited to:

In-service and professional development trainings for school staff

    Parent education

    Classroom support for teachers

Trainings for outside care providers including OTs, SLPs, PTs, and psychologists
